"Your logo is the most important visual part of your business." A bold statement, yes, but not a million miles away from the truth. Yet if you were asked to describe the following company logos: Coca-Cola, McDonalds, Apple Computers, BMW, you'd probably be able to describe them all in exact detail.
Your logo is the first, and possibly
the most constant, point of contact with your potential
customers. If your logo is memorable, strong, eye-catching
and perhaps even conceptual, it will stick in peoples'
minds and it will help your business to be remembered
above any other for supplying a specific product or
service.
If, however, your logo is produced on your secretary's PC, in 24pt Times New Roman (great font that it is) and run-out through a dot-matrix printer, then you won't be remembered because you'll look like thousands of other companies from different market sectors and you could potentially lose customers because of it.
